Part of the Solidigm (a startup spun off of Intel in December 2021) Network Security tower, leading the team responsible for the blinky things that plumb our global hybrid data network.- Built and currently lead a team of senior and junior network engineers (and one Sr. Network Architect) across multiple regions, overseeing all aspects of management including goal-setting, task assignment, performance evaluation, and training.- Spearheading the strategic planning and development of Solidigm's network infrastructure, including the setup of new data centers and the adoption of future network technologies.- Responsible for the design and implementation of numerous network systems and infrastructures including LANs, WANs, and other data communication systems.- Continually monitor and manage network performance and availability, troubleshooting network issues and optimizing performance.- Manage budgeting and cost-effectiveness of network operations, ensuring prudent procurement of hardware, software, and services.- Keeping up with the latest trends in network technology, leveraging innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.- Developed and enforce network policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.- Successfully built and scaled the network engineering team from the ground up as part of a startup environment.- Implemented new corporate and lab networks at 10 physical locations across the globe, in the cloud, and at a physical data center, significantly expanding Solidigm's network capabilities.- Embracing a philosophy of continuous learning and improvement, applying insights gained from past challenges and setbacks to drive better decision-making.- Designed and deployed a robust global digital telecommunications system, fostering seamless connectivity and service delivery for administrative workers and the contact center.
