Part of the Solidigm (a startup spun off of Intel in December 2021) Network Security tower, leading the team responsible for the blinky things that plumb our global hybrid data network.- Built and currently lead a team of senior and junior network engineers (and one Sr. Network Architect) across multiple regions, overseeing all aspects of management including goal-setting, task assignment, performance evaluation, and training.- Spearheading the strategic planning and development of Solidigm's network infrastructure, including the setup of new data centers and the adoption of future network technologies.- Responsible for the design and implementation of numerous network systems and infrastructures including LANs, WANs, and other data communication systems.- Continually monitor and manage network performance and availability, troubleshooting network issues and optimizing performance.- Manage budgeting and cost-effectiveness of network operations, ensuring prudent procurement of hardware, software, and services.- Keeping up with the latest trends in network technology, leveraging innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.- Developed and enforce network policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.- Successfully built and scaled the network engineering team from the ground up as part of a startup environment.- Implemented new corporate and lab networks at 10 physical locations across the globe, in the cloud, and at a physical data center, significantly expanding Solidigm's network capabilities.- Embracing a philosophy of continuous learning and improvement, applying insights gained from past challenges and setbacks to drive better decision-making.- Designed and deployed a robust global digital telecommunications system, fostering seamless connectivity and service delivery for administrative workers and the contact center.

Founded and bootstrapped a nationwide VoIP provider with a focus on customer experience through CPE data collection and automated analysis to provide a unique approach to uptime. By using channel partners instead of direct sales, we were able to focus on the technology that delivered our product and service from our geo-diverse enterprise class 4/5 NetSapiens soft-switches which we ran from Albany, NY and Las Vegas, NV. Employees, nationwide network, and customer base were sold and merged with another large provider in July, 2022.- Built Extensive Channel Sales Partner Network.- Designed and Deployed Class 4/5 UC Switches on bare metal across U.S.- Engineered Network with Focus on High Uptime and Fast Remote CPE Troubleshooting.- Private VLAN across Crown Castle's nationwide network for private customer links.- Managed Onboarding and Customer Service.

Stemming from a car radio with a broken backlight (true story), Carma Systems eventually raised over $7m and through several pivots starting with infotainment systems eventually became an innovator and leader in the emerging global telematics and fleet-tracking space. By using channel partners who would brand our equipment we were able to quickly capture a larger worldwide customer base eventually leading to projects around the world in the UK, France, India, and the US. Carma System's in-house designs were manufactured using select partners to produce small and innovative hardware products that connected with OBD-II, J1708, and J1939 interfaces on light and heavy-duty vehicles. By transmitting data over the cellular networks to our platform we enabled our channel partners to connect to our easy to use API which powered a whole new level of products to their customer base. I moved on from Carma in 2013 upon starting Fluent Voice, though the company lived on for another 10 years with my former partners.
