Ran and operated PixlBit for years as a successful fan-oriented gaming blog. I lead a distributed volunteer staff and established relationships with PR firms across the industry to ensure coverage and content for the site.I went on to develop and release PixlCross on the Wii U eShop on March 31, 2016 in North America as my first foray into game development.

Technical lead on the delivery of the Excluded Worker's Fund intake/adjudication system in 2021 to provide pandemic relief to the excluded worker community of New York State. We delivered the project in a shortened 12 week period and it was a tremendous success for the state in helping deliver targeted relief to a section of the community.

● Prepared and delivered a pitch to the VP of State and Local Business on how to extend our NYS Medicaid contract through modernization and was promoted to enact my plan in building the eMedNY Modernization Org, which contributed to winning a seven year contract extension● Through my org, I designed, built, and implemented the products that would re-establish our Medicaid brand (Transcend) with modern technologies and sensibilities, while meeting strict performance benchmarks (HA/DR, High Volume)● Built open source frameworks (Wily) on top of Spring Boot and Angular, along with starter projects to ensure rapid development of new applications● Established a microservices architecture to interconnect the new suite of Transcend applications, which are inclusive of a centralized hub tool that allows business users to author complex, hierarchical forms with a WYSIWYG editor, along with help content, and 508 compliant themes, as well as a Communications Center where users can receive notifications and participate in conversations● Built a generic product for Medicaid Provider Enrollment and Maintenance, as well as a back office adjudication tool for reviewers to use. Both products fully automate and make digital a traditionally paper process. Product was built for the general market and integrated into the NY Medicaid enterprise● Built a variety of other applications including, but not limited to, Batch Claims Submission Dashboard, Direct Data Entry - Eligibility, Security Portal, Project Portfolio Management Application, and Medicaid Benefits Mobile app prototype● Manage a staff of 10 including developers and UI/UX designers● Maintain and manage a full portfolio of work and backlog of modernization initiatives. During my time at Maximus I established their web services architecture as well as their database design for a call center application used by the NY Health Benefits Exchange.

I handled PR for the site as well as various editing and management roles. In addition, I was an active writer that published content on a near daily basis.

I was a part of a small team that was responsible for the conversion of old COBOL applications that ran operations, payroll, time and attendance, employment, organization hierarchy, and others to Java Web Applications.We did this using a Spring Framework, with Spring Web Flow, Hibernate, Groovy, and JSP.

I wrote the entire Starving Scholars web application and managed both a second programmer and graphical designer.In addition, I also wrote a variety of other small web applications for the company during my duration of time there.
