My Ph.D. research focused on "Thermal transport in three-dimensional nanoarchitected materials." I studied how a 3D-printed nanomaterial can be very thermally insulating and mechanically stiff, physical properties that typically do not coexist. I developed simulations, experiments, and analyses to predict, measure, and understand the thermal properties of these nanomaterials.
