In this role I had oversight of the daily operations at Westmar Student Lofts in Midtown, Atlanta. Westmar is the largest student housing development in downtown Atlanta at 369 units and a total bed count of 1,216 beds. With a team of 30 direct reports, we are navigating this property through a stabilization period in an effort to reach maximum occupancy while completing a multi-million dollar renovation of the property. Our primary target market consists of Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Morehouse, Spelman, and Clark Atlanta University.

Oversee the collective operations of four, purpose built, student housing properties for American Campus Communities. Responsible for effective and accurate implementation of corporate accounting policies and procedures, marketing plans, facilities compliance, annual budget planning, and overall asset management. Duties also include contract negotiations, enhancement of customer relations, project planning, capital improvement recommendations, and market analysis and strategic planning.
