Hello, my name is Nicholas Ebert. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Business within the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Before pursuing a business degree, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. In my undergraduate degree, I cultivated a fascination with human medicine, research science, and the wider public health landscape.While at Texas A&M University, I have exposed myself to varied perspectives and academic disciplines. This has involved exploring public health principles that guide medical practice as well as creating a wider global perspective that influences the state of biomedical research. I have been involved with an innovative healthcare organization that helps to fill the gaps in our complicated healthcare system. These experiences, classes, and perspectives have given me a deeper appreciation of the complex medical system, allowing me to begin to comprehend the system within that influences a medical doctorI have been part of research projects focusing on understanding the immunology that guides human and animal biological systems. Within this role, I have cultivated an appreciation for the science of biomedical research and created a desire to be on the innovative edge of medical research. Through an integrated program at a leading hospital in the state of Texas, I have been introduced to key practices in the field of high-tech surgical medicine. These experiences introduced me to the technical aspects of being an innovative leader in medicine. Looking forward, I am drawn to medical roles that combine relationship-building and innovative medicine. My leadership experience within student organizations has taught me how to build relationships in the pursuit of similar organizational goals. I am deeply satisfied by encouraging and growing others as we pursue a common goal of excellence. Because of this commitment to relationship building, I believe I can contribute effectively to the environment of medical school.In essence, I am committed to pursuing a deep understanding of the highly technical biomedical knowledge to become a physician, and I am passionate about the wider healthcare system that contributes to practicing medicine.
