After growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I graduated with a BA in History from UCLA and an unofficial minor in Computer Science. After college, I worked as a software engineer, building websites for high profile brands such as W Hotels, Nissan, Infiniti, Patrón Tequila, goop, Tiffany & Co and The San Francisco Giants. After moving to NYC in 2011, I co-founded The Bosco, the industry leader of digital photo installations for events. I was originally responsible for building the software for The Bosco’s suite of products, which included the first ever automatic GIF photo booth. Eventually I segued into day-to-day operations, finance and management of The Bosco’s 40 person full-time team across 5 offices in NY, LA, SF, CHI and London and was named an Event Innovator by BizBash Magazine in 2013. Through The Bosco, I made a series of acquisitions and investments including Curfew (film production), Bobby Redd (fabrication & branding), and Midnight Commercial (experiential design). In 2019, I invested in and helped launch Lobos Boxing Club, a boutique boxing gym in Los Angeles. In 2020, when The Bosco was on hiatus due to the pandemic, I co-founded Puppy Love, a full-service agency primarily focused on providing virtual experiences for the likes of Motorola, Showtime, HBO and the Wall Street Journal. In 2021, I began focusing on real estate investing full-time, acquiring my first multifamily building in Atwater Village, which was renovated and stabilized within 3 months of acquisition. Having caught the bug and voraciously consuming every book I could find on the subject, I completed the UCLA Extension Certification for Real Estate Investment Analysis and Finance as well as acquiring my CA Real Estate Salesperson license, applying my entrepreneurial skills to real estate investing. In 2023, I continue to focus on acquiring multifamily properties in large CA metro areas. I currently live in Los Angeles with my wife Stephanie, our son Felix and dog Rex, and enjoy blacksmithing in my spare time.
