From 2012 to 2014, I led Akron Brass Company's global mining industry development with the 'Severe-Duty Mining Products' range. I implemented new distributor channels to facilitate key market growth and oversaw the roll out of Australia's mining market concept globally.I liaised with representatives from the Australian / New Zealand oil and gas, industrial, Defence, marine, refineries, petro-chemical, mining, OEM’s, on-road watercarts, and all fire brigades.I also delivered targeted corporate presentations and live demonstrations to mining companies, managers, and operators on products such as fire nozzles, fire monitors, foam equipment, lighting products, water cannons, and other high-performance fire fighting equipment.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS► Served as project manager for the first true 1000 LPM fuel system into the mining industry.► Reshaped the mining industry in terms of water cannons on watercart and mining washdown.► Trained many sales staff to acquire invaluable product knowledge.► Consistently under-promised and over-delivered with all clients

In my role, I was responsible for all sales and development activities within the mining division of the organization, including managing the budget and directing Australian / New Zealand business activities across all markets. Markets include fire brigades, petro-chemical, oil, LNG, refineries, defense, airports, marine, mining, quarrying, on-road watercarts, councils, power generation, utilities, vehicle lighting, multiplexing, fire truck OEM's, mining industry OEM's, emergency service industry OEM's, and project engineering companies.In managing a sales team in Australia, I identified new business opportunities within all market sectors, generate sales, and build relationships with new and existing clients. I also targeted areas for improvement within the business and work with executive management on all aspects of market development for high performance fire-fighting equipment.In addition, I was responsible for distributor and end customer product training and introducing new product ranges to the mining industry across Australia & Indonesia.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS► Received the ‘Presidents’ Sales Excellence Award in 2012 and 2013.► Received the ‘Presidents Award’ for becoming the highest grossing margin salesperson globally in 2011.
