For as long as I can remember, I've always learned by doing. I've been starting businesses since I was 15. Being an entrepreneur affords me the opportunity to get outside my comfort zone daily, learn at a high velocity, have a big impact, and have a lot of fun.I currently live in Boulder, CO. I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead Help Scout. 12 years in, I still love the work and the people I work with as much as ever.I love building products that work for small businesses, but I'm just as passionate about remote work, DEI, and refactoring capitalism. I strongly believe that a company can only fulfill its market potential by balancing profit and purpose — leaving customers, employees, shareholders, their community, and the environment better off.
