We developed and launched a SaaS lead generation tool for real estate agents. I was responsible for developing and executing on our sales strategy, growing sales to $6,000 MRR before we hit scaling issues and shut down the business.

DresswithMe was a social platform helping people figure out what to wear, when. Upload a couple of outfits, tell us where you're going, share on the platform and get advice. I recruited a CTO on Reddit, raised a small friends and family round, product managed an MVP, and drove our marketing strategy and execution. We launched with a radio interview and article on MyNorthWest.com and some press from local bloggers. We also designed the site to rank #1 on Google for user generated content, including hundreds of long-tail keywords like“What to wear to an interview at Starbucks”, “What to wear to an interview at Amazon”, and “What to wear to a Deathcab concert”, etc.Ultimately we did not achieve product market fit and my co-founder and I pivoted to LeadAdvo.

I dropped out of college to move to Rio De Janeiro to teach English. Although I moved to Rio to teach, but my personal development is the highlight of this experience.I excelled at and became very passionate about teaching and received the highest grades in my Teaching English as a Foreign Language program.The first month was exciting and uncomfortable. I had never been more alone or more self reliant. I didn't have any friends, nobody spoke English, I didn't have a cell phone, I couldn't tell who wanted to hurt/rob me and I knew if I got lost I could easily end up in an extremely dangerous neigborhood.Five months later I had become familiar with the city and exploring by myself, I had a large network of friends, and made deep connections with people I had shared months of incredible experiences with. After moving to a developing country that speaks a language I don't understand, 3,000 miles away from the closest person I know, I realized I can do anything I work hard for. This was a major turning point in my life. This experience led to the confidence I needed to disregard my lack of formal education and begin to build the career and life I wanted.
