  • Ctrldo™ — Task Messenger
    Product Owner
    Ctrldo™ — Task Messenger Aug 2012 - Sep 2018
    Kharkiv, Ukraine
As the Product Owner of CtrlDO, my role involved overseeing the development and implementation of a client-server solution designed for iOS, Android and web. CtrlDO represented a unique blend of a Messenger and a Task Management app, offering users a seamless experience similar to popular messaging platforms like Telegram, WhatsApp, Teams and Slack, coupled with the functionality of task management tools such as Trello, Jira and Asana. Assigning a task to any phone contact is convenient both for business and private matters.
  • Ctrldo™ — Task Messenger
    User Interface Architect
    Ctrldo™ — Task Messenger Aug 2012 - Sep 2018
    Kharkiv, Ukraine
For CtrlDO my focus was on crafting a user experience that seamlessly combined into the Task Messenger. CtrlDO represents a unique product in its ability to simplify collaboration within everyday tasks, drawing inspiration from popular messaging platforms, while integrating features reminiscent of task management tools. My role involved designing intuitive user interfaces that offer easy task delegation, dedicated chats for each task to ensure focused communication, alongside features like setting deadlines and reminders, with the added voice-to-text recognition for task input. One of the key aspects of CtrlDO's interface was its minimalist design, reminiscent of simple sticky notes, ensuring a clutter-free and intuitive user experience. I made an effort to make task management as seamless as possible, allowing users to accomplish their tasks with ease, all within the same platform where they communicate with their contacts. Ultimately, the goal was to make completing tasks as effortless as possible, surpassing the traditional methods of communication like phone calls.
  • Gonzo-Store™ — Innovative Content-First Appstore
    Product Owner
    Gonzo-Store™ — Innovative Content-First Appstore Feb 2014 - Mar 2018
    Kharkiv, Ukraine
I directed the development and implementation of an innovative Content Delivery Platform (CDP) with a unique patented design based on the "content-first" principle. My goal was to create a convenient and attractive app store where the selection of applications and games would be as user-friendly and appealing as possible. We designed a UI-UX that allows users to quickly and easily find both newly released titles and popular classics. Our advanced app catalog algorithm, leveraging alternative ratings from popular app reviewers and game review websites, provided the ability to discover products that may not appear in the top charts of stores like Google Play and the Apple App Store. Our "Price Drop & Gone Free" section helped users track discounts and giveaways for the games and apps they needed. Unfortunately, due to a conflict of interests with Apple's policies, our application was not allowed on their platform (Apple is a highly monopolistic company). However, despite this obstacle, our team found alternative content delivery methods and continued our work on the Android platform.
  • Gonzo-Store™ — Innovative Content-First Appstore
    User Interface Architect
    Gonzo-Store™ — Innovative Content-First Appstore Feb 2014 - Mar 2018
    Kharkiv, Ukraine
The choice of games primarily relies on screenshots and videos, which is why I developed an innovative interface based on the Content-first design principle (ui-ux patent UA118951U). To ensure quick loading of screenshots, I created a special image compression algorithm, after which they were automatically placed in Cloudflare CDN. We were the first to let users watch gameplay videos, even before this feature appeared in the App Store and Google Play. For this, I designed administrators interface for automatic searching and viewing of videos from YouTube. This interface also included a lightweight version of the player, video content previews and the option to select a custom thumbnail for the video. The interface for filtering products: by various genres (including categories such as turn-based strategy, real-time strategy, and first-person shooter, which are absent in the App Store and Google Play); sorting by release date of updates; and user ratings (the UI for displaying ratings had a specially designed layout to quickly understand how much users find the product appealing). Additionally, I developed a user interface for the "Collections" section and an administrative interface for managing collections content. An interface for internal analytics was also developed, which includes tracking the number of new daily arrivals, statistics on various genres, section visit analytics, user preferences, and other aspects. Also, an interface for internal analytics was developed, which includes tracking the number of new daily arrivals, statistics on various game genres, analytics on the visits to different sections, users' most favored games, and other aspects.

    Kharkiv, Ukraine
The key aspect of my work involved developing a logical and intuitive structure for the user interface, navigation and layout of system elements. Additionally, my work for MyWAY included the creation of a unique visual style inspired by roadway and traffic sign design: all design elements from the naming to iconography resembling road signs.
