Technology executive in the software industry. Started on the Research side working on decision support systems used by astronauts on Space shuttle and Mir missions (a lot of fun!). Moved to the commercial side of things through telecom (OCtel, Lucent), then Internet (eLearning at Saba, and e-commerce at Digital Jones, eBay, PayPal, Wonga, Work4, Klarna, and WorldPay) focusing on HR/recruiting, eCommerce and a strong focus on Financial Services during the past fifteen years. I was thrilled to be back on the Research side of things at Elsevier. Always willing to expand my international experience I spent 3 years based in Abu Dhabi (starting a bit before the Covid pandemic) with a portfolio of super secure communication applications as well as secure phones and network devices. I am now back in Europe applying a career of digital first experience to the world of retail.
