HMC and Nick created the Brighton Business Curry Club to provide a networking event which was informal, functional and affordable and the event became one of the most popular business to business networking events in Brighton and wider Sussex.The event started out when a HMC client wanted to attract more midweek corporate business in April 2010 so the event was created to facilitate this need. The event soon became too big for the Eastern Eye restaurant, so the event moved to The Lansdowne Place Hotel, The Sussex County Cricket Ground and then the Bali Brasserie. On 22nd May 2015 HMC passed ownership and the running of this event to other parties.

Nick and his wife travelled from Alaska to Argentina for 10 months on honeymoon/ sabbatical. The journey involved 15 countries and 29,500 miles. Now Nick actively uses this site as a motorcycle forum to keep in touch with other intrepid travellers

As a SFEDI qualified business consultant I have been delivering start up advice for small businesses on behalf of Edeal through their BUSINESS LINK contract since 2007. This consists of reviewing a business in all its areas (marketing/ operations/ strategy/ HR/ finances, sales) then making recommendations in the form of a Business Action Plan. This role as an associate within Edeal also meant that I would meet with certain clients regularly in a type of mentoring capacity.

Brighton Visitor is a tourism based magazine profiling Brighton as an exciting destination city. HMC helped launch the identity of the Brighton Visitor brand working alongside Nick Mosley and his team. From launch events to providing editorial features, Nick helped position this magazine and website as a strong brand in the city. Sales training, networking introductions and event management were key responsibilities.

Responsible for the implementation of marketing plans across the Cherrywood investments portflolio. This included the launch of Stanmer House in Brighton, the rebrand of Brighton's Insight City News, the challenge of Newlands school in Seaford and the ongoing marketing for the Abbey Hotel in Brighton. Nick left this position to start the Harvey Marketing Company.

Responsible for establishing Drakes of Brighton as a new product in the Brighton Hotels Market. This hotel consequently won local and national awards and reached very high occupany levels.Drakes won the best bar tender award in 2005.The Drakes restaurant 'The GingerMan' won the Harpers and Queen accolade for the best new restaurant outside of London. Finishing behind Gordon Ramsey.Drakes was voted as one of the Top New Boutique Hotels in the World by Conde Nast Traveller
