After more than 13 years building, evaluating and analysing models, running exposure management and catastrophe pricing teams, working and consulting to the world's leading insurance organisations, I had a first-hand understanding of the myriad challenges experienced by the industry in quantifying catastrophe risk.Together with like-minded colleagues, we co-founded Reask to bring novel science and technology into the world of catastrophe modelling.

My role here is to coordinate the build of the next generation of probabilistic cat models. From the development of Reask's view of Exposure and Vulnerability, to the deployment of our solutions on the Oasis Loss Management Framework, I'm helping to bring our probabilistic view of loss to the market.
