I am an Audit Partner and member of PwC's Global Assurance Quality Review Team. Prior to this I led the Assurance Practice of PwC in Western Australia covering external audit and internal audit services, risk assurance and controls advisory services and accounting advisory services. I have extensive experience in providing a diverse range of assurance services to the resources sector globally. I have worked predominantly in Australia and USA but have with experience on the ground in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Canada and a number of countries in Africa. My specialisation covers upstream and downstream oil & gas, gold, iron ore, copper, nickel, zinc, lead, coal, diamonds, mineral sands and in various resources sector services companies including engineering & construction.I have experience in working with all sizes of companies from junior explorer to multinational publicly listed companies and really enjoy working with agile and high growth companies. I have led a number of large clients on a multinational basis including Royal Dutch Shell for the Asia Pacific Region, Chevron Australia, Barrick Gold for both Australasia and Africa, Fortescue Metals Group, Ausdrill Group and Iluka Resources.I led our Accounting Advisory practice in Western Australia which provides expert accounting advice and/or support around working through complex accounting issues, mergers & acquisitions, debt arrangements and/or solving other issues. I have also worked with companies in helping them streamline their financial reports and better align financial reporting to meet stakeholder needs.I am Chairman of College Council of Methodist Ladies College, a former Deputy Chairman & Treasurer of Youth Focus Inc., a former Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia and a former State Chairman of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
