Nick Herron has been a consistent top producer since he entered the real estate field in 1990. He ranks among the top of more than 7,000 RE/MAX agents statewide, earning membership in the company's 100% Club, Platinum Club and Hall of Fame.Nick was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a BS in Business and Marketing. In 1982 he took a job as the National Sales Manager for a flooring company and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Sales, a position that brought him to Florida.Nick’s new job allowed him to live anywhere, as long as he was near an airport. He spent time exploring the state that had become his adopted home, and from all that was available, he chose Casey Key. He had fallen in love with the barrier island’s “Old Florida” lifestyle and the opportunities it afforded him to pursue his passions for boating and golf.By the late eighties, he had decided he had traveled enough. He also realized, after buying and selling a number of homes that he was doing better in real estate as than in the corporate world. He decided to share his love of the barrier islands and Sarasota with others wanting to live the Florida dream and obtained a real estate license.
