MW Luxury Packaging develops and supplies award-winning luxury and gift packaging to the world’s leading spirits, champagne and health & beauty companies, including Diageo, Patron, Bacardi, Brown Foreman, Estée Lauder, Crème de la Mer, Battalure Beauty and Tom Dixon.Led the business to a successful trade sale.Full P&L and operational accountability for a £18M turnover business.Partnered the development of the business from £400k to £18m.Expanded the team from 2 people to 50 people.Reduced overheads by 20% in Y1 of appointment as CEO and a further 10% in Y2.Increased the company’s profile to one of the most respected in the industry.Established business relationships with globally leading brands.Set up subsidiary companies in US, Mexico, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, France and Slovakia.Established a QA department, opened a testing lab to reduce 3rd party testing costs by 35%, whilst increasing the intensity and robustness of tests.Achieved ‘Luxury Packaging Supplier of the Year’ at the Luxury Packaging Awards 2015.Oversaw compliance ISO9001, SEDEX/Smeta 4 Pillar, ISO14001, BRC, FSC and HCAPP requirements.Developed bespoke software platforms to allow collaborative development across all global sites.

Creation of an extensive global sourcing/supply network in China, India, Slovakia and Mexico including additional partners in North America. Also researched opportunities in Vietnam, Cambodia, Poland and Slovenia.Developed and implemented an industry leading QA program for the manufacturing of luxury packaging, which superseded the use of generic AQL standards.Created collaboration between factory and MW QC staff to improve confidence in procedures for all parties, resulting in MW’s appointment as Diageo’s “benchmark” supplier in relation to QA.Identified new markets and drove development of sales (25% of the role).Headed the on-going development of logistics/warehouse/distribution provision.Developed a Supplier Qualification Program for the identification and approval of new suppliers - ISO9001, SEDEX/Smeta 4 Pillar, ISO14001, BRC, FSC, and HCAPP.Promoted communication as a positive motivator to achieving strategic goals.
