Specifically since September 2010, I have been working as a Research Assistant to the Strategic Leadership Department at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in development of a new book on Strategic Leadership. I have been editing interviews with top strategic leaders, conducting research, writing case studies, editing chapters and have even written a chapter on Organizational Culture for the upcoming publication.

I coordinate and manage the Student and Alumni Association for the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF), now also known as The Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy (ES - Eisenhower School). ICAF/ES is a post-graduate program and falls under the umbrella of the National Defense University at Ft. McNair in Washington DC. I was hired to restructure the Alumni program to make it more interactive and useful to Alumni. Some tasks include writing and delivering presentations, developing and structuring social media sites (for networking and job searches), building a new and interactive website, database management, marketing school store items - in person and via the website, membership drives, organizing luncheons & 'brown bag' speaker events, and conducting interviews with alumni, faculty and students to write relevant and interesting articles for the newsletter (published every other month), which I am responbile for creating and publishing....Through it all I get to meet and talk to some truly amazing people! It is a crazy busy job, but somebody's got to do it :) LOVE IT!!

Volunteer with several International and Spouse Support Programs for the National Defense University in DC. I serve as one of the Facilitators for the Spouses International Cultural Exchange, Advisor to the ICAF (Industrial College of the Armed Forces) Spouse Club and a Sponsor for International Military Student Services. I create and deliver presentations, mentor and develop new spouses, support International students and spouses as needed, encourage participation in various academic programs and provide any other academic and cultural support as needed.

I offered consulting services for those looking for work or looking to change jobs or careers. I write resumes and offer interview coaching.

I was the Advisor to the Family Readiness Group Executive Board of CMO-2 in Kaneohe, HI. Family Readiness Group consisted of approx 700 members with an executive board of 7. I approved all board decisions, provided support and guidance for fund raisers, social serves to our family members, and promotedof our program. Due to Command Decomissioning, this group no longer operates.

Managed staff to ensure exceptional service, goals were met and branch teamwork. Developed new business plans and recruited qualified candidates to fill positions for client companies. I developed and managed the single largest account for the branch. I was also responsible for credit approvals and collections, as well as managed the workman comp claims and job site safety inspections.

I again worked with PIRE when we moved to Oak Harbor, WA. I was able to return to work in the same position of trainer/facilitator as I previously held.Facilitation and Training of military members on Personal Responsibility Skills. Topics included, physical fitness, nutritional fitness, money management, alcohol and substance use, mental and sexual health training. Each week I instructed a new class of 20 participants to complete the interactive training. The goal was to increase readiness and assist them in developing skills for healthy living. I was also actively involved in developing new curriculum's and piloting new topics for development and implementation into the program.

Branch sales development, through recruiting, staffing and establishing new business. Strategic Consulting, including developing business plan & sales strategy development & drafting and delivering business proposals.Advising new businesses on our service benefits, negociating rates and ensuring exceptional servce from my staff. Managed the Net Operating Profit and budget for the branch and staying up to date on credit and collection reports. Developing innovative ideas for recruiting and retention of both employees and business partners.
