I joined Guardian Water as a business development manager, responsible for sales and account management for the Central London area.Guardian are an established air and water hygiene company with offices in Essex and Yorkshire working nationwide for a varied client base including major hotels groups, industrial sites, facilities management companies, retail outlets plus schools and universities where we provide services as follows; • Monitoring and Analysis of both domestic water systems: To the requirements of HSC ACOP L8 entitled “The control of legionella bacteria in water systems”. • Water Hygiene Risk Assessments: Approved code of practice and guidance HSC ACOP L8 states that “The assessment should be reviewed regularly (at least every two years) and whenever there is a reason to suspect that it is no longer valid”. • Air Hygiene Risk Assessments: To the requirements of TR/19 “HVCA Guide to Good Practice Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems”. • Upgrading and Refurbishment of Water Systems: To the requirements of the current Water Byelaw Regulations. • Cleaning plus Disinfection of Water Systems: To the requirements of HSC ACOP L8 entitled “The control of legionella bacteria in water systems”.• Chemical Analysis of Cooling Towers and Steam Boilers as per the ACoP L8 and BS2486 respectively. • Monitoring and analysis of air handling units and conditioning systems for sick building syndrome as well as kitchen extract ductwork cleaning.
