Throughout a long and varied career, my clients and opportunities today remain as interesting as my initial professional years. My company, Phillips Consulting Group, founded in 1991, does Strategic, Operational and Financial Consulting in Tampa Bay, Sarasota and Washington DC.From wearing an expensive suit as the CFO of several companies, to being the executive behind the big leather office chair mapping out high level business strategy or rolling up my sleeves to dig in and turn a company around, I have demonstrated significant success in a variety of diverse industries and situations. Much of my experience and expertise lies in workout/turnarounds, raising capital for early stage, expanding companies, and stepping in as an interim CFO.Currently, as a financial consultant and business intermediary, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, performing valuations and analyses of business operations incorporates the extensive financial experience I’ve gained over the years. The acquisition, divestiture or even the rapid growth of an existing business requires me to think outside the box and add value.
