• To co-ordinate projects for the Grants Scheme and provide technical and administrative support to the Grant Product Manager in the development and improvement of the CITB-ConstructionSkills Grants Scheme.• Analyse relevant processes where changes to the Grants Scheme will have possible knock-on effects and ensure the full impact of these changes are appreciated before implementation.

• Liaising with an external agency and assessor from BSI and with Senior/Departmental Managers on a day-to-day basis.• Upgrade to the higher level system (Quality Management and Core documents) as required and for each scope expansion during the year.• Production of operating procedures for specified Business Services departments.• Assisting in the development of the desired culture of the Directorate. • Reporting on any areas that are not adhering to ISO standards by spot checks and internal audits, and assist in the planning and undertaking of internal audits, as specified in the annual ISO audit schedule for the current year.

Co-ordination and control of the ISO 9001 processes and systems to ensure maintained compliance with the combined ISO accreditation and before the 1 August 2006 CPCS individual ISO accreditation. • Maintenance of databases and the co-ordination of paperwork in and out of CPCS for CPCS In-House Assessors. • Responding to all general enquiries for information by telephone, fax or post within the day of receipt. • Provide CPCS Product Manager with Process performance reports to agreed deadlines (end of each Qtr). • Ensuring a customer focussed service is provided at all times.

The job entailed looking after employers on the Levy Register for the areas, ensuring that the register is maintained and that all employers are registered correctly. • Ensuring employers are fully aware of their obligation to the CITB-ConstructionSkills’ and that they understand that it is a statutory requirement of Government to be on the Levy Register if in scope and for all employers to complete a Levy Return Form on a annual basis. • The role also entailed the processing Levy Return Forms with PAYE and LOPR payments, along with Cessation of Business Forms, Employer Enquiry Forms and New Registration Enquiry Forms. • Liaising with the local field office for the area and other internal departments via e-mail, fax, internet, written correspondence or telephone. All to ensure that the employers receive a high standard of service for their enquiries.

• Running a busy sales office, co-ordinating and monitoring sales activity.• Processing orders and quotes, Sales Purchase Ledger, on occasion Weekly Payroll and overseeing Import and Export of freight along with general office duties. • Directly responsible for over 100 existing Customer Accounts and for the marketing in the aim of expanding the current dealer network. Also for other marketing including regular mail-shots, producing all price Lists and sales literature, all telesales activity, market research and customer service. • Helped in the development of a new WebSite
