I am currently writing a plan to eradicate rabbits and hares from Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary, ACT.I am currently contracted to provide information to assist the ACT gov to incoporate fauna in fire management plans.

My thesis was on the biodiversity value of revegetation in Gippsland. We spend so much money on planting trees and shrubs, with the assumption that they will provide habitat for fauna (among other things). I looked at the effect on fauna of particular revegetation attributes such as size, age, planting around existing old trees, and the number and variability of the plants put in the ground in the first place, creating different levels of structural complexity.

Threatened species reintroductions, pest animal control works and research, vegetation changes due to rabbit and stock removal and reintroduction of native species, annual monitoring of flora and fauna, community engagement.
