Manages and directs the work of more than two full time associates/coordinators.Interviews and recommends the hiring of or directly hires store associates.Evaluates associate performance, recognizing associates through reward and discipline,Recommends career development and termination of associates.Plans daily work activities and allocates work assignments among associates based on business needs.Analyzes store scheduling needs and makes recommendations to store manager regarding staffing and exceptions to store payroll budget.Oversees ongoing functional training of associates within assigned area.Coaches and develops associates to improve and strengthen both store and associate performance.Directs and guides store associates to effectively execute merchandise presentation philosophies.Identifies merchandising opportunities and challenges in each department by reviewing the sales report, develops and coordinates action plans to resolve issues.Embraces and trains associates on customer service programs and philosophies.Facilitates open communication amongst associates and management to build trust and effective teams.Maintains good associate relations, addresses associate concerns and ensures all associates are treated with dignity and respect.Oversee financial operations within the store to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk.
