While I was operating my own business before I got into this industry, I experienced on almost a daily basis how incredibly tough and also incredibly rewarding it can be to be the captain of your own ship. When I became a mother I experienced feelings of not just wanting to, but NEEDING to protect my children against whatever life threw at them.When I watched friends go through health challenges I saw how much that could affect not only their financial situation but also their ability to provide for themselves and their families.When I was looking at changing careers I came across this industry, and after doing some research into it realised that it suited me perfectly. I have a real passion for this business because it gives me the opportunity to do what I love most, and that's help people. It allows me to get to know my clients incredibly well, get to understand their life and see where their vulnerabilities are, and design a plan to make sure that those gaps are covered so that if something final were to happen to them their dreams can still happen. When it's a life interruption I can help make sure that they've got a plan in place to get them through it, and make sure that the plans that they have for themselves, their loved ones, businesses, and even future generations are going to be ok and still able to happen.I also love being a central hub of support for my clients, being the one person that they can call to organise a wide variety of vital things to get right in life.
