My main job responsibility I had with CFI was overseeing the process of all employee’s FMLA, Personal Leaves, and Military Leaves. While working within this position, I had to make sure DOT guidelines were met before releasing a driver back to work. This protected themselves as well as the company, and I strived to always make sure we was complying with Safety. Other than leaves, I also could help answer Medical/Dental/Vision/Supplemental Life/Accidental Death/Basic Life Insurance/Basic 401K questions. I also overseen the Wellness Program, this included duties such as scheduling flu shots, Biggest Loser contest, and the scheduling of First Responders, etc.Within the HR side of my duties, I taught in house employee orientation, wrote letters for employees for financial and jury duty purposes, dealt with some unemployment cases, termed employees in the system, and helped in the process of solving any employee issues that took place. During this role I worked within PeopleSoft, ADP, and the AS400 ISeries programs.

I started out in the company as a Log Associate, which took care of drivers Hours of Service while driving a tractor/trailer. The main job function was troubleshooting Qualcomm’s. I then went to work in Compliance where I made sure that all drivers were in Compliance with DOT Regulations. I made sure that the DOT Physicals were up to date and sent to the states, made sure that licenses were up to date, and I made sure that Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR's) came back clean.

I handled W-2's , unclaimed checks, making sure taxes were setup correctly, and helped with Payroll.
