Key Achievements• Led a fresh and proactive approach to media engagement resulting in a considerable leap in positive coverage in my first three months. (AWE had not enjoyed positive coverage at 60% since the 1990s.)• Handled all reactive responses to media and external stakeholders working closely with, and according to guidance from the Ministry of Defence during periods of significant pressure including anti-nuclear protests.• Delivered effective and damage limiting crisis communications during a period of immense reputational vulnerability following a central government announcement on the storing of nuclear waste from decommissioned submarines.
