Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve, East Bethel, Mn

Assisted in implementing and establishing a willow predation project. Performed laboratory and greenhouse research on willow drought stress through stomatal quantification, leaf area and cross section analysis, molecular identification of genes, and statistical review with JMP. Collected and cultivated willow specimens across different terrains, via canoe or foot, using GPS for predation research. Designed and presented a willow predation and leaf tannins quantification experiment at CCESR.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Executed agricultural field, green house, and lab work with soybean and corn fungal infections. Performed DNA Extractions from soil, plated media, prepared dilutions and solutions, quantified fungus via microscopy, ground samples, recorded phonological observations, cleaned and organized lab, entered data. Greenhouse work including fertilizing, watering, measuring plants, applying treatments.
