Competitor Analysis – Identify and analyse competitor websites for clients. Determine the content, linking, and ongoing requirements required to help ensure that a website will rank as high as possible in search results.On-page Analysis & Optimisation – Identify content gaps, duplicate and thin content pages, and create keyword maps. Update title and meta tags to improve conversions and rankings. I liaise with the content team to help devise high quality content that drives traffic and increases conversions.Keyword Research – Keywords are the foundation of good SEO. I find relevant, targeted keywords, including both niche and high-traffic keywords, using keyword research tools, site analytics, and other sources. These keywords are then used to develop an ongoing SEO strategy.Regular Reporting Of Results & Rankings – Clients expect and need regular updates. As part of my project management and directorial role, I regularly communicate with clients, and I provide monthly results and traffic reports to help ensure that clients are always kept up to date.Ethical Link Building – On-page content forms the foundation of an SEO campaign, but it is links that drive pages to the very top of search results. I identify linking opportunities through competitor analysis, keyword research, and outreach campaigns. I also assist in other ethical link building techniques, such as directory and citation link building, broken link building, resource list link building, and I identify ways in which to create high DA links for customer sites.

Helping to design websites for small businesses right through to pulling together the website. I worked on many projects helping with HTML and CSS problems as well as a little PHP.

I mainly dealt with building up their company website. However along the way I also dealt with other clients websites, from start to finish or just fixing and changing a few things.

This is an IT Apprenticeship in which I was able to pick up two MTA's, and a CompTia A+. As well as learning a lot about fixing and installing parts on computers, servers and laptops I also picked up a lot about dealing with customers, and creating a knowledge base.
