About Nick Kilby Mcipr

In August 1983 I started my career as a stage manager at the Edinburgh Festival as the Stage Manager for "Victor Spinetti's Name dropping thoughts from a very private diary" at the Assembly Rooms. Extensive tours, spells at reps in Plymouth, Windsor and Coventry followed before a brief but wonderful time at the National Theatre. I Company Stage Managed 6 productions in London's West End before turning to production. I was general manager of the British Actors Theatre Company with Kate O'Mara and Peter Woodward. I also produced 4 Productions under my own name. In 1991, I took over the Thorndike Theatre in Leatherhead for Bill Kenwright. 12 months, 13 shows and very happy end to my theatrical career.From 1992, I was involved in the management of entertainment buildings until 2006. I have headed an international chain of Imax Theatres, operated 16 Cinemas in the UK and took over the lead role in building and opening The Rich MIx Cultural Centre, a £26 million Arts Complex in East London.Between 2006 and 2010, I was a Councillor in The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. It was this experience that made me decided to move into world of Political and Community communications. Initially I worked on major regeneration schemes.In 2009 founded Cratus Communications which is owned by the Advocacy Group with Middlemarch Communications Limited and Rubber Duckiee Limited.
