I was afforded the chance to join a small group of highly motivated surveyors and engineers in the early stages of their first product launch. The challenge was to jump immediately into the fire of supporting and testing/evaluating an extremely technical product, while working within the constraints of a small company. I was able to accomplish the rapid spool-up by combining my Geomatics Engineering background with an intensive, hands-on approach. The result? A fantastic level of customer service and support that propelled the company's sales at a critical time.

At CardnoWRG in Roseville, I served as an integral member of their Survey team by seeing projects through from beginning to completion. Utilizing cutting-edge equipment, such as robotic total stations and GPS, I acquired topographic and boundary data that I used to prepare survey maps, such as Records of Survey, ALTA/ACSM Land Title, Design-level Topographic, Exhibits, et cetera. The projects I worked on ranged from simple elevation certificates, to complex re-designs of large structures and underground utility networks, to precise monitoring of settling structures, to determining site compliance for ADA accessibility.

Manged data download and processing of survey data, with an emphasis on GPS post-processing using Trimble Geomatics Office. Organized and updated project control for a multitude of land development and public works projects. Drafted topographic maps using Autodesk's Land Development Desktop. Performed network adjustments using Star*Net.

Served as a member of a survey field crew, performing boundary, topographical, ALTA, construction, land partition surveys.

Deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served as a machine gunner on a humvee.
