Led design for all products across web platforms, e-commerce sites, kiosks, and mobile applications. Core member of the product team and introduced a culture of user testing and iterative user experience design.Redesigned existing core product information architecture and completely new user interface design. Redesign included a new style guide as well as a 6-month strategic plan for transitioning current users.Created new mobile user interface guidelines for B2B and B2C applications to be consistent with new web products and across Android and Apple platforms.Designed and prototyped new e-commerce site and checkout process that handles over 50 million ticket sales a year with a focus on testing and optimization.Implemented multiple tools for user feedback throughout the core product as well as contextual help tools and publicized findings for transparency across internal organizations.

Worked across various products to redesign as well as create new mobile and web products. Partnered with product stakeholders to integrate design into existing Agile development processes.Participated in redesign of a large-scale process automation application moving from Java thick client to web application in the browser. Played key role in design of a new mobile product focused on executives. The app was selected as one of CA’s most innovative products in 2012. Portions of the iPad app were shown in the CEO’s keynote presentation at the company’s global conference. Designed a mobile prototype for one of CA’s most successful SaaS applications in 6 weeks. Prototype was used at CA World ’13 as an example of company’s focus on design and innovation. Selected for Leadership Development Program reserved for top 3% of company employees.

Lead in-house designer and first design hire, I worked with the CEO and VPs to lead ShareFile’s product design and online marketing materials.Redesigned the consumer application in use by over 1 million users and 10,000 companies worldwide. Redesign included more efficient use of screen space, improved workflow, and a more focused approach for advanced users.Designed internal applications for employees in order to improve overall workflow and increase efficiency in handling customer support and sales.Led the design of mobile applications for the iPhone and iPad as well as Android phones. Each app was customized to make best use of the platform and hardware features while providing a consistent experience.

While at BBI, I specialized in direct response marketing and interactive design. We worked on various levels of engagement, ranging from email marketing to customer service UI. We used data driven and strategic techniques to help clients increase conversion and optimize user interactions.
