Major challenges were mathematic modelling of the dynamic test systems. A viable solution was found after iterations of designs and a detailed analytical model in FEA.Lead, designed and delivered the load-carrying pin connections in test bench’s coupling, featuring mixed materials to avoid pitting. Challenges included material compatibility, cost-effective design, thermal expansion, friction, and pitting.Designed, delivered, and installed walking platforms, stairways, and guardrails for the testbench at LORC. Structural verifications with beam models to comply with DS/EN ISO 14122-1.Designed the main shaft for the hydraulic wind load unit on the Vestas test bench in Aarhus. The main shaft carries torque from the motor to the nacelle, while subject to hydraulic load components: axial force, radial force, yaw moment and tilt moment. The rotating component was subject to very complicated load cases, and an extensive FEA consisting of many load cases was built to verify weldments and bolts for the extreme fatigue damage.Designing and delivering the load-carrying structure (LCS) of a rotating test bench for ZF, featuring hydraulic interlocking mechanisms, weldments of 200 mm steel plates subject to extreme fatigue load.Author of various internal guidelines and tools, such as "Welded structures in CAD", 3D CAD drawing templates, 2D CAD drawing templates, Excel calculation templates.
