• Managed a complete product line comprising three systems sold to the cosmetic industry around the world. All systems are based on polarization imaging and aim at providing the customers with images and numerical data to substantiate claims, help marketing and/or improve formulation. • Oversaw each stage of manufacturing of all systems such as working with suppliers, mechanical assembly of the system, assembly of the optical and electronic components, testing and trouble-shooting the final product.• Managed the onsite installation and training of the systems at the clients’ locations around the world.• Programmed all software for the product line in charge and customized existing software used for other products in the company. • Continuously developed and updated the product line to improve the systems’ performances, keeping them in line with current technologies.• Developed a new product now part of the product line for 2 years. • Actively promoted the product line over the years at trade shows around the world.• Conducted talks about the systems and their technology at conferences around the world.

• Teamed with an undergrad student to optimize a confocal microscope developed to measure the concentration of diverse molecules flowing in MEMS at different velocities.• Gained expertise in team work and working in a lab environment.

• Tested and rated off-the-shelf OTDR- based (Optical Time Domain Reflectometry) instruments for a project aiming at measuring and monitoring temperature and strain distribution in dams.• Experience gained in optic fibers, team work and technical reports generation.
