The Group's businesses underwrite $12.6bn of premium per annum, selling insurance under many leading brands (e.g. NRMA Insurance, CGU, SGIO, SGIC, NZI, State and AMI). Since joining IAG in July 2010, I have been fortunate enough to have had a broad range of exciting roles including, but not limited to:- Executive Manager, Platforms & Proposition Development: designing and developing new distribution partnerships through which our products can be white-labelled into our partners' brand and sold to their customers.- Executive Manager Strategy Corporate Development: strategy development and governance for game changing growth and/or capability uplift- General Manager Corporate Partnering, Office of the CEO: driving growth through strategic partnerships beyond core insurance - Executive Manager Corporate Development / M&A- Personal Insurance Product & Underwriting: Portfolio Performance, Planning & Co-ordination. Responsible for driving portfolio performance through insights, planning, budgeting, underwriting, pricing, governance and operational risk management.- M&A / strategic projects: driving growth and capability uplift through M&A and strategic projects. This included IAG's acquisition of Wesfarmers Insurance for $1.845bn- Strategy: strategy development and governance- Reinsurance and Capital: I was responsible for providing the Direct Insurance CFO and CEO with recommendations on the reinsurance and capital programme during a period of unprecedented peril activity (e.g. NZ earthquake and QLD floods) and reinsurance capital flight.

The key services we provided clients were:- acquisition due diligence: financial, commercial, tax, financial modelling, regulatory due diligence on a target on behalf of a potential acquirer;- vendor due diligence: undertaking due diligence on behalf of the business to be sold, but ultimately at risk to the acquirer;- capital markets: providing a client's Due Diligence Committee with assurance around historical and forecast information included in publicly available documents (eg Prospectus, PDS, Bidder's Statement, Target Statement)I also spent two years working with the London Financial Services Transaction Services team.
