I craft training for technical and non-technical teammates, from IT professionals to nurses who need more technical knowledge.I lead a small team creating guides and other help resources in DaVita’s in-house application, CWOW (c-wow), using Pendo. Our team manages all help resources in CWOW and develops and maintains new resources. I also manage and document standard operating procedures for the many tasks the Pendo team accomplishes for new releases and more. These guides help thousands of teammates use CWOW with tooltips, walkthroughs, a comprehensive support center, and more help resources.This happens collaboratively with teammates, business partners, subject matter experts (SME), and other stakeholders. I also work on self-paced courses (eLearning), short training videos (microlearning), and performance support (job aids & quick reference guides). Every day is different, and my role has changed over the years.

I worked in the Staff Development department but worked closely with IT to develop micro-learning videos on targeted topics to help solve training gaps from the help desk. I also developed interactive self-paced courses and software simulations to provide relevant and realistic practice in a safe environment for technology and sales enablement.

After receiving my Outlook Certification, I provided first-level phone support and troubleshooting for customers with email and other product issues on various devices. Beyond my primary role, I volunteered to lead internal training for domestic and international support staff. In addition to live and virtual sessions, I developed an online course for future employees.

My primary role was maintaining and upgrading school technology. I also worked with staff, teaching them to use technology to improve their jobs. My additional tasks influenced the topic of my master’s thesis, “Instructing Educators to Use Aeries Using Multimedia Instruction.”
