I lead the Production Technology & Operations organization formed by combining the Asset Management and Production Technology teams. The group provides direct guidance, training, and support for Netflix Branded content created in the US and Canada. We demystify new technology utilized during production to help filmmakers efficiently achieve their creative vision. From capture all the way to final delivery, QC, and archive- we partner with the filmmaking community throughout the US and Canada.

Led the ~17 full time staff that formed the U.S. based Post Production Asset Management team. We managed the packaging, delivery, and QC workflows post production vendors utilized to deliver final picture and audio for Netflix Originals. We educated and onboarded our vendor parters as well as production personnel on best practices and Netflix workflows/applications to achieve scalable content delivery.

Our mission: enabling greater scale around media creation, delivery, and QC to fuel the growth of Netflix Originals. Additionally, myself and a colleague shared programatic management, communication, and development of the Netflix Post-Production Partnership Program.

Global team leadership within Netflix’s Digital Supply Chain during rapid global expansion. I was a senior contributor in creating the Netflix Preferred Vendor Program (NPV) which included Dubbing, Localization, and Media vendors. My role was to help build the program to serve the needs of Netflix's international expansion and rapidly growing content slate. My team and I designed the Netflix Partner Help Center and built KPIs and defined Scopes of Work to effectively manage our vendor partners. I played a key role in launching the Netflix service globally, through multiple territory launches including Europe and Asia Pacific. My team discovered, evaluated, trained, and communicated with Media Processing, QC, Dubbing, and Localization vendors to effectively prepare and create media for regional and global service launches.

I developed and managed technical relationships with media processing vendors, Closed Captioning vendors, and Movie/TV Studios. I helped create and define Netflix's Preferred Vendor Program for international expansion. I developed technical partnerships with key international vendors to launch Netflix in Canada, Latin America, U.K., Scandinavia, and France. Key partners I managed were: Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, Fox, BBC, CBS, Showtime, Fotokem, VDM France, CMC France, SDI, Juice Canada, Sfera. Responsible for the health of the digital supply chain across Latin America, France, Scandinavia, and all independent content owners globally. I partnered with Netflix's Product Engineering team on the design, functionality and roll out of Netflix's first media acquisition portal, Backlot.

Focused on the day-to-day operations of the encoding pipeline, including content ingestion, QC, and partner onboarding. Worked with development and engineering teams to help build an elastic cloud based encoding pipeline. Ensured all content went live on time and troubleshot errors throughout entire pipeline. Technical liaison between content operations, content acquisition, service vendors, and content partners.

Managed small team of video technicians and editors for startup media authoring and production company. Created and edited dozens of TV spots and film trailers for independent distributors and content owners. Member of core management team that transformed the business from a DVD distributor to a full fledged DVD authoring and content creation company, doubling revenue within two years of hire.
