After a naming reshuffle from Lab2 through Trike Interactive we finally settled on Ingredients and now specialise in web design and development.

Lab2 Design Unit initially provided clothing design and development services on a consultancy business. Based entirely on word of mouth advertising we worked with companies including Bonds Australia, O'Neill Australia, Sara Lee, SOCOG, SMP. We moved towards handling more graphic design work for print and web around 1997. Our print work included clothing catalogues which were partly automated using a combination of Applescript, Filemaker and Pagemaker/Indesign scripting. This combination led to web programming initially on Miva Merchant ecommerce sites with Mivascript and from there to PHP/MySQL.

Full-time position helping establish a Sydney based startup clothing company. Roles included clothing design, graphic design, Apple Mac network management, overseeing production and more.

Researched market trends, including European markets and trade fairs. Prepared visual concepts for clothing range directions. Design of sportswear garment ranges while working as part of a team including contribution to graphic work. Travelling to various Far East agents and working with merchandising team to produce sample garments for salespeople. Preparing final visual work for salesbooks using CAD systems and associated software.

Working as part of team to produce visual presentations of garment ranges and clothing trends after initial meetings with clients, workload prioritisation and deadlines.

Various duties including sportswear design, technical garment specification, range illustration, trend research, garment graphic design, and fashion show production.
