• Responsibilities- Commercial/consumer monitor development, especially for ASUS and HP.- Proposing ID feedback and discussing best solutions according to requirements, such as cost-oriented, function-oriented, or appearance-oriented etc.- Planning internal and external placement for monitors.- Mechanical structure design, including plastic/metal components, case, chassis, hinge, stand, base etc.- Verifying feasibility for theoretical design by mockup sample.- Tooling review with suppliers for plastic injection molding, stamping molding and die-casting molding.- Responsible for trial molding and solving problems during this process.- Analyzing test results and changing design as needed.- Developing specification and approving sample.- Instructing SOP for assembly.- Making sure products are successful for mass production.• Qualifications:- Proficient in CAD, especially ProE, AutoCAD.- Familiar with development procedure for 3C device.- Familiar with molding knowledge- Good at mechanical tolerance analysis.- Good at test issues debug and providing solutions.- Good communication and cross-department cooperation.- Be able to work independently and lead a product development.• Achievements- Two patents. One is a monitor stand which can be folded into itself back cover, which could decrease package cost and increase portability.
