I have worked on developing new features for the product including a filter wizard, custom action bar and hotkey GUI, and a secure socket layer DLL. When I joined the team I helped come up with a plan to integrate an automated testing process using C# scripting and the software package Ranorex. I have helped design and develop many of our more than 200 automated tests that nightly generate reports helping our team of engineers quickly find and fix defects. Airborne TacView (December 2009-July 2010): I worked on the Airborne version of TacView creating DLLs and modifying the SDK XML for customer specific requests. I developed a DLL plugin that enabled the customer to select and control multiple objects on the tactical screen Message Maker Web (July 2009 - December 2009): Using Python and the Django web framework we created a web accessible version of a commonly used QT tool at Ultra. The web version presented the user with a way to enter tactical messages and validate against common military standards.

Software EngineerSuper Happy Fun Fun Aug 2007 - Jun 2009Santa Monica, Ca, UsUnannounced Plug and Play TV Game ( Jan – June 2009 ) – I worked with the lead engineer in designing the code layout and I am responsible for programming the gameplay for one of the five mini-games. The mini-game uses an accelerometer controller to navigate a character through a scrolling 2D environment while collecting items and avoiding collision with objects. Unannounced Plug and Play TV Game (October 2008 – May 2009) – Using C, I worked with the lead engineer in designing the code layout, developing the game design, creating the menu and game structure, handling the art assets, and programming the gameplay for an accelerometer controller. The gameplay consists of 15 different accelerometer based activities that the player progresses through during regular gameplay. Level Editing Tool (September 2008) – I added many new features to our existing level editor using python, PyQt, and Qt libraries. DUI: The Long Drive Home (May 2008 - August 2008) — This game for Windows Mobile phones has eleven different mini-games that use EyeMobile technology to control the gameplay. I implemented gameplay mechanics, modified level design elements, and added joypad and accelerometer controls to the mini-games. EyeMobile technology allows the user to tilt and twist the phone in order to interact with the game. Tilt-A-World 2D (February 2008 - May 2008) — Using one of our company’s IPs, I helped extend the original 3D java game onto 2D devices by adding several new gameplay elements. My work included modifying our map editor in python, creating new gameplay logic, modifying the 2D physics, and creating an entire new control scheme. I-Play Bowling Java (October 2007 - February 2008) — My responsibilities on this mobile Java game include debugging and optimizing code, adding and modifying art assets, creating layouts, and designing code to handle stylus input for touch screen devices. IGN rated this game 9/10. -
