I was the student manager for a student lead volunteer program with a staff of 4 other students and a budget of $27,300. We reached out to on average 30-40 engineering students that were willing to go into 3 local middle schools and teach students about simple engineering principles through hands on projects. Our goal was to inspire them to one day pursue a degree in engineering. My primary responsibilities were to coordinate between the 3 schools, SU, and SRC the company that funds the program.
