Hi there! I'm Nick, founder of The Mental Health Coach. My current work has me highly focussed on supporting people to enjoy better mental health, whether that's through providing counselling and coaching, or by helping people better understand mental health through facilitating Mental Health First Aid programs. My background is in training and development in the context of multiple Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s). I have a breadth of RTO knowledge that spans operational, management, quality and compliance aspects, gained through working as a trainer and in RTO management roles. I am experienced in the delivery and coordination of multiple funding contracts, including Traineeship Programs. I am a skilled team leader who effectively coordinates resources to achieve team and organizational objectives.I also have a keen interest and a depth of experience in mental health awareness. A real 'people person', I enjoy working with a variety of different people and positions. I actively work to inspire, lead and develop people, increasing their capability and assisting them be the best they can be. I am experienced in and passionate about team engagement. I have been working with teams of people, integrating values based approaches to business leadership, for many years. I have been honored to be asked to speak about these topics at industry events around the country. I am an Accredited DISC Advanced Consultant and Facilitator and qualified Business and Workplace Coach. I am also accredited to deliver Mental Health First Aid. I am thrilled that my work at Aspire was recognised through the Whitelion Chairman's Award.You'll also catch me speaking at conferences and professional associations throughout the year. I have been a guest speaker at Velg Training conferences, summits and workshops, VET Development Centre Workshops, TINO, VINO and many other events.
