• Implemented, tested, and deployed numerous Java-based backend services core to the MPX system and its workflows, including writing integration tests• Facilitated the transition of team deployment processes from mostly manual to fully automated deployments from code check in to the live environments through implementing a suite of tools, including one to automatically generate a change request for Production deployments, as well automation of updating Slack channels with the status of a deploy, and the automation of creating continuous deployment pipelines in TeamCity• Designed, implemented, and tested a new service for inlining and converting subtitles of various file formats into an HLS (m3u8) media file manifest supporting several server protocols which allowed for subtitles to be added and modified in existing MPX content without requiring to be re-published• Transitioned the shift from monolithic-based to microservices-based architecture by implementing with serverless technologies new components VOD pre-ingest and metadata services, including an API-fronted data service framework, as well as a solution for executing customer processing scripts written in JavaScript in an isolated runtime
