• Developed, planned, implemented, and managed policies, procedures, and operations on the effective use of the college’s computer network and systems for administrative, academic, and student services and support needs. Established and maintained computer security and accessibility for the users of the system. Consulted with users (employees and students) to determine problems, and methods of enhancement and/or resolution. Ensured that computers were operational • Maintained inventory of all computer equipment at the college. Served as college contact for purchasing new or enhanced computer equipment. Established methods for the college to follow in servicing and ensuring computers are working • Planned, directed, implemented and managed computer systems and operations, and the associated budget, which support the needs of the college while following the goals and objectives to interface District wide • Served as primary contact between the college and the Office of Information Technology to ensure district-wide standards and policies are implemented and enforced • Supervised, directed, and reviewed the work of assigned professional and clerical staff to ensure that the services provided by the office are completed. Provided staff with plans and decisions to improve working relationships throughout the office and throughout the District. • Managed a team of Education Solution Specialists, Account Managers, Trainers and Installation Engineers with the pre and post-sales support of SMART Interactive Whiteboards, 1:1 devices and various AV solutions yielding +$3M in annual sales• Consulted w/ school/district key decision makers on technology integration, implementation and calculating overall ROI/TCO• Provided day-to-day direction and support to direct reports to ensure that they meet or exceed their quarterly revenue goals • Instrumental with direct and indirect sales and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and maintain ongoing relations and partnerships with existing customers; managing a current Illinois customer base of over 3500 active leads and contacts ranging from superintendents, school administrators, technology directors, curriculum/PD specialists, teachers and school board members

• Pre-Sales: Supported the reseller channel with product demos, trade shows/conferences, product "shootouts", webinars and virtual meetings. Contributed to the overall bottom-line and helped generate revenue from existing and new customers• Post-Sales: Worked closely with various school districts to ensure that the products were being used effectively in the classroom. Provided modeling and best practices for effective integration. Maintained ongoing relationships with customers to ensure that they are aware of emerging solutions from the company• Professional Development: Worked closely with key decision makers at the district and school level to help develop, execute and evaluate a long-term professional development plan and training modules to ensure that teachers were effectively using SMART solutions in the classroom, with emphasis on how SMART solutions can support and integrate with existing technologies and interventions• Community Building: Worked closely with schools and districts to build a user community in an effort to help teachers with seamless integration of SMART solutions. • Oversaw all programs and initiatives that supported NCLB and that were regulated by Title IID (EETT) grant stipulations and guidelines; Digital Media Services, Student Technology Services & Professional Development Services• Managed a $2.6M budget associated with Title IID (EETT) funds and $200K LTC grant funds (ISBE)• Implemented and managed all district-wide technology integration initiatives to include, the deployment and management of an enterprise learning management system, interactive whiteboards (SMART), web-based training development and facilitation, 1:1 mobile device initiatives and cloud-based alternatives for student assessment• Extensive work experience around contract and vendor negotiations, RFP/RFQ/RFI processes and vendor relations• Provided day-to-day direction and supervision to 25 direct reports; performed quarterly employee performance evaluations and reviews; provided ongoing training and development opportunities to build human capital; interfaced closely with Senior Management to ensure that the department outcomes align with and support the District’s goals and objectives
