What do drilling holes in a 2x4 and steaming milk for a latte have to do with each other? They're both strangely satisfying, and a lot more creatively fulfilling than you'd think. The two things most in common with my 7 years of job experience as an assistant of a contracting and renovation company and my 1 1/2 years working as a Barista for Starbucks are they've both let me utilize my passion for combining creativity and craftsmanship into an amazing experience for a customer. Whether it's remodeling a basement or making a cappucino, my love for and commitment to doing things right, and with an aesthetic flair are front and center in everything I do. I'm self-motivated and very goal-oriented, but what's gotten me more attention at both my jobs than either of those things is my artistry and creativity. My goal is to one day make a living doing what I love most: creating something that has an impact and makes a difference. There's nothing that makes me happier than putting my heart and soul into my work and seeing the results.Now, I'm looking to put those wishes into a brand new career, one in which I can put my all into a fulfilling and challenging creative prospect each and every day.When I'm not frothing milk and brewing coffee, I'm drawing, writing, gaming with my weekly pen-and-paper rpg group, and deciding what neon shade to color my hair next. I'm thinking purple.
