ServiceWorks Recruitment and Outreach Manager- Built newly launched national program (ServiceWorks) from ground up by mobilizing the resources of United Way and connecting with local universities as well as community organizations resulting in multiple program sites- Developed and maintained partnerships with 10 local agencies in order to recruit youth to participate in ServiceWorks and provide needed programming resources to local agencies allowing for further community betterment - Mobilized over 100 St. Louis residents to participate in ServiceWorks through well planned service learning projects- Delivered program curriculum to youth using best practices of classroom management and facilitation techniques in order to maintain the interest of the youth and make the program engaging - Partnered with Saint Louis University’s Learning Communities to host a regional volunteer event that allowed over 500 students and community members to volunteer at over 25 host organizations- Developed process and policies around how to effectively implement ServiceWorks allowing for an organized and strategic approach to program implementation - Connected with over 200 local organizations to introduce ServiceWorks to the community and offer the program as a value-add to their organizations - Led the team in a re-strategizing process to develop a more effective recruitment and outreach strategy and created a process for implementing the strategy resulting in a 95% increase in youth involvement
