I joined Weaviate as the first Sales Executive on the East Coast. What sets Weaviate apart from others in the space: an unmatched focus on the developer experience, an incredible technical team that is constantly delivering new innovation on a 3-4 week release cycle, and a culture of thinking big and executing. Previously, I spent 7 years at Snowflake in a variety of individual contributor sales roles. I started when the company had around 50 customers and $15M in revenue (at my departure, 9,000+ customers and $2.6B revenue). I was fortunate to have joined a company with an an amazing leadership team and a culture of winning. It doesn't hurt when you are selling an amazing product that "just works" and delivers tangible ROI and business benefits. What I enjoy most about sales is the competitiveness of it. Like sports, it is a performance-based profession and you are in full control of your effort, attitude, and activity. I also enjoy building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, based on mutual trust and shared goals.
