First project aims to align patent examination processes among National offices by setting up a Knowledge Network and making examination systems more modular. Second project aims to introduce a highly advanced search engine to member states. As Agile Coach I facilitated the team to adopt Agile practices to increase communication and collaboration, and improve the visibility to the headquarter in Paris.

Title of my dissertation: Self-Organizing Knowledge - Examining the Conditions Under Which Professionals Share & Integrate Knowledge.My research focused on the use of (social) collaboration tools (e.g., Yammer, Slack, Facebook Workplace) in large organizations, and the ways in which these technologies may or may not facilitate knowledge sharing. Key topics: enterprise social media, knowledge management, qualitative & quantitative data analysis, IT implementation, and change management.Three major projects:1) Knowledge Sharing on Enterprise Social Media- Study at a large IT Consultancy firm- Analysed qualitative data to understand under what conditions the technology facilitates or frustrates knowledge sharing- Translated my research into tangible findings and presented them for the management board2) Validating Knowledge- Study at a large healthcare provider- Analysed qualitative data to understand how knowledge from practice travels and becomes transformed into organisational knowledge- Found two major processes of validation are essential to cross from the individual to the organization. Experiential validation & Evidential validation. If one of these breaks down, no new knowledge is created on the organizational level.3) Domesticating Enterprise Social Media- Study at large widespread healthcare provider- Analysed both quantitative & qualitative data to understand how a collaboration tool became adopted over the course of 5 years, without managerial intervention- Unraveled a process of domestication through which users make a new technology a standard part of their work.
