I joined the Estates department at Prettys as a Trust Executive in 2014. I undertake the drafting of wills and declarations of trust, and assist with the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Enduring Powers of Attorney, the obtaining of grants of probate and the administration of estates.

During my time at Mourant Ozannes I worked within the Corporate department and also undertook work for the Trust Department. I was involved in drafting trust instruments, board minutes and legal correspondence for trust and corporate clients, undertook legal and regulatory research, undertook the drafting and issue of legal opinions to lenders, vendors and purchasers and assisted with the incorporation and launch of holding companies and funds. I also assisted in the finalising of Guernsey fund prospectuses, and compiled all documentation in preparation for Channel Islands Securities Exchange listing.

Whilst at RBC Wealth Management I was involved in all aspects of the administration trust and company structures, and as a client handler liaised on a day-to-day basis with clients and advisors. I drafted trust and company meeting minutes, reviewed trust instruments and company articles, arranged payment from trust and company funds, coordinated bookkeeping and assisted in the preparation of annual accounts.
