It started with a hammer, a coffee can of nails, and a pile of scavenged wood. My childhood summers were spent scouting and scrounging up scrap wood from local house builds and dragging it back to our spare lot to construct forts and follies. Each morning, I would rise and head out to the site and spend the entire day basking in the unadulterated glory of building and creating with my own two hands.To this day there is nothing quite as gratifying as seeing a project I have helped cultivate, rise from the earth. With this joy comes tremendous responsibility. The responsibility of creating buildings and environments that not only elevate our daily lives and human spirit, but the responsibility of building with as minimal impact on the environment as possible. I believe in working collaboratively and relish working with and helping foster high-performing engaged teams. I work with humility, curiosity, and optimism for what could be. For my clients I seek solutions that are elegant, solutions that are efficient in their ability to harmoniously and creatively unite the vast array of complex systems and constraints into an outcome that delights, endures, and is greater than the sum of its parts.
