Complete Building Services (CBS) is a $100M+ company that supports public and private sector clients and employs 450+ people. The Manager, Talent Management was both strategic and operational in nature; advising on strategy while leading initiatives from conception through adoption. This role led efforts in the following: Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Retention, Workforce Planning/Organizational Management, & Analytics/Talent Insights.

I worked as a part-time instructor sharing my passion for rock climbing with adults and children. I instructed patrons on the safety protocols and basic techniques to ensure an enjoyable experience free of injury to themselves or others. When I was not instructing, I was focused on continuing to provide excellent customer service when serving the climbing community.

I am truly grateful for the three and a half years I had to learn, grow, and contribute to Apollo Professional Solutions. The time was right to move on to a new challenge; however, prior to starting a new position, I wanted to take advantage of the moment. I decided to live out a long held dream of backpacking alone throughout Europe. Throughout this time period, I constantly pushed the known boundaries of my personal map. I met hundreds of people, formed numerous friendships, made a mountain of memories, and even met my future wife. I learned a lot about myself, but most of all I learned that a positive mindset yields positive results. I'm excited to bring this global, positive perspective to my future employers along with my newfound affinity for story telling.
