I teach a courses on chemical equilibria and basic analytical methods (such as acid-base titrimetry) to the students in Chemistry (+/- 40 students).

I coordinate the development of solutions to meet the world’s growing food demand by designing specialty fertilizers, ensuring their chemical quality and improving their production process. Additionally, I set up programs for the validation and commissioning of analytical methods. I collaborate with members of various departments to strengthen our market position, to support our customers and to address environmental concerns.

I lead an R&D team in developing formulations and coatings for Li ion batteries. This includes project and people management, fundraising, reporting and communication, and managing collaborations. Additionally, I pursue an improved EHS policy by organising the lab infrastructure, developing SOPs and participation in the first aid and intervention team.

I designed vanadium-containing formulations and related their composition to the properties of the resulting vanadium oxide coating. I established collaborations on magnetic resonance spectroscopy, leading to high quality publications. I volunteered as a chemistry-teaching assistant (± 200 students).

I integrated carbon nanotubes and high-k oxides in microelectronic devices.
